Frayednot (headed by Constantinos Sandoukas) is the most capable specialist in audio/video installations I have ever worked with bar none â and I worked with a lot of people in the past. Frayednot helped me with a number of jobs at my house. I had recently bought a house in Short Hills, NJ and the previous owner was a big audio/video consumer; but everything he had was wired and wired to old equipment. Upon leaving, he took all his old equipment with him and left me with a massive amount of spaghetti wires coming from every wall throughout the house. I wanted to rationalize what I have and what I donât have, clean the wires and install a full sound system in the house in every room. In addition, I wanted wireless internet speeds to be what FiOS advertised to me. I had my router in the basement and tried to extend the network with a repeater but that did not work great. Constantinos and a colleague of his (who is also phenomenal) came over and looked at what needs to be done. They said it will take 3 days to clean the mess, configure the new system and connect all the new equipment. What was impressive about the work was that the system worked flawlessly immediately â all bugs were cleared before I tested it. And it was all done in 2 days not 3. White Glove treatment â there was no mess and everything worked seamlessly. The quality of the workmanship was A+. I couldnât have for a better team. The Internet speed was exceptional in every room in the house - just what I asked for. Few months later, when I installed a new router at home and things came undone with some of the equipment, Constantinos was a phone call away. He came over the next morning and fixed the mess that I created the night before. The service was pricey but I believe in the adage âyou get what you pay forâ and I did. Pricey but fair. In other words, you wonât feel that he got the better of you. Frayednot recognizes the value of follow-up business and the value of a good reputation and treats their customers as such. All in all, if you want things done right the first time, I would say that Constantinos should be your #1 call Hisham

When the electric eye for the flat screen TV in our family room malfunctioned, we called FrayedNot. Constantinos Sandoukas arrived promptly and addressed the problem which was repaired in less than thirty minutes. What impressed both my husband and me was Constantinos' skill, efficiency, and knowledge. Constantinos took time to explain exactly what caused the electric eye to malfunction and fixed it in a timely fashion. Since the repair which occurred in October of 2014, the unit has been working like a charm. Obviously and to our surprise, Constantinos felt the amount of time it took to complete the job did not warrant sending us a bill. He could have charged what he wished, but his honesty and integrity precluded the charge. Even the cost of a service call was not submitted to us. Truly, Constantinos went above and beyond what any customer might expect. In conclusion, we highly recommend FrayedNot and Constantinos Sandoukas to anyone in search of a trained professional who keeps current with the new developments in his field, is highly skilled, meticulous in his work, personable, articulate, and most of all.......... honest. Integrity is Constantinos' calling card. From start to finish our experience with him and his company FrayedNot was positive, and in our judgment all Constantinos has to do is maintain his high level of service. It's been nothing but a pleasure working with Constantinos since day one. From my experience, most people in the industry are just looking to sell you a product/service and once the sale is made, they're nowere to be found and when problems arise, there's no one to turn to. Constantinos actually stands by all of the work that he does. He installed a camera/security system for me and everytime that I've ever had a problem with connectivity, with the cameras, with my network, or anything at all, he instantly troubleshoots remotely and if necessary, he stops by to correct whatever the issue may be. To me, that has been the most valuable part of my relationship with him...the support that he provides so consistently. I recommend him highly!

Knowing Constantinos Sandukas now for over 20 years isn't the reason for this review , but more so seeing the final product once he is done "painting his master piece". No other words can describe the talent that he portrays. His impeccable, outstanding professionalism and pristine work speaks for its self! I have seen homes in "The City (nyc)" where high end people (celebrities) pay top dollar simply for that reason alone and the finished product doesn't compare to Constantino's... no where near!!! You not only pay for what you get, but you get more then expected! He NEVER comes back to repair anything , instead returns with upgrades because we both want the next and newest product that hasn't even hit the retail floors yet! And i ONLY trust him to do so. The trust i have in him is not only him knowing the equipment & product, but to the point where he has copies of every key to all my homes with 24/7 access if i am not there. Besides my wife, the next closest pleasure i have is coming home to that final product! Walking in and hearing this futuristic , cosmic sound is out of this world!!! And again only Constantinos can offer that to me! If you are looking for that "one of a kind" sound & site, you would be a fool not to let him put his hands on your equipment.I can go on and on about how great he is but you will only be reading my words instead of experiencing them for yourself. And for those of who know me reading this, you already know how i like my things. I PROMISE you Constantinos will not disappoint or like he says "never leave you stranded"! Constantinos Sandoukas was recommended by my contractor for an audio installation in my home. Frayednot did an excellent job with the installation and I was very impressed with Constantinos's technical, customer service and communication skills. Constantinos provided a detailed quote, completed all work on time, and always arrived promptly as promised. He took great pride in his workmanship and I really felt that he treated my home as if it was his own. He did not suggest unnecessary add ons or components and developed and installed a solution that still meets my needs. Like some of the other reviewers, I had the need to call Frayednot back to my home when something wasn't working correctly several weeks after the work was completed and paid for. Constantinos came back and quickly corrected the issue and did not request any additional payment for the extra work that was not the result of the initial installation. I also had Constantinos mount some TVs on my walls and again his workmanship was impeccable. I have already recommended Frayednot to a close friend and he had a very similar experience. We all should be so lucky to have these types of experiences with the vendors we choose!

Meet with the client and walk the house/space to get an idea of what it is they are looking to achieve. Go over what the options are relative to budget and time. Put a quote together for the customer outlining the scope of work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The CEDIA convention is a yearly event usually in Colorado. frayednot is there in attendance each year for any needed training relative to new technology or product. Not to mention the daily research done to keep up to speed on what is changing in the industry as well as attending quarterly seminars for many of the custom products frayednot installs.
