Great massage. Steve is attentive and professional. He’s one of the best!Apr 5, 2018Verified
The reviews were outstanding and I was looking forward to working with Steve. I sent a request which was answered quickly but then I didn't hear from him at all. After three days I went with another pro. This review is not about his ability to massage, it's about his response time.Dec 5, 2017VerifiedSteve G.'s reply
Ethelyn my most humble apologies for not getting back to you within the three days.I was in the process of moving living locations at that time and ended up with a family member in the hospital as well. I believe I reached out to you the next day and explained that to you.
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have many payment options for each of my professional services, depending on which service it is and also depending on your situation. My rates are all set but I automatically discount my rates for military, police and teachers as well. Besides this I might adjust my rate for seniors and college students. With that said, I normally charge $ 80 for each training session ,$ 100 for each massage/energy therapy session. I tend to adjust my rate as well for potential clients through Thumbtack as I am trying to build new clientele though it. I also might adjust my rate depending on either me going to them or them coming to me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? If the potential client's focus is on fitness we discuss what their fitness/wellness goals are to start. I attempt to find out more about them by highly recommending my very extensive fitness evaluation that incorporates an11 page wellness inventory questionnaire ,health history questionnaire;along with various physical tests to measure my clients level of fitness and potential for injury using a core functional movement screening. Among other things filled out when I start with a client is a sheet asking which types of exercise is desired. If a client has some medical concerns, being treated by a medical professional I will always want to have an open communication with that professional as I find it's very important to be on the same page with them. If my client main desire is on setting up for massage or energy therapy appointment we will discuss that as well, as some clients only want that or along with physical training. Just mentioning that as a massage, energy therapist I have been doing this for thirty four years, trained in many styles. I have some cross over clients who hire me fore both personal training and massage therapy I have different payment plans for the clients convenience and stress free.
