My students enjoy my class. I have great ratings from staff and students alike. All English teachers can teach about books and reading. I teach content as well as confidence to the children, so they walk into any situation with their heads held high. I have almost twenty years of teaching experience in the NYCDOE system. I've taught middle and high school levels and can assure positive results in English / ELA, Social Studies, essay writing, test prep, SAT English/Writing prep, SHSAT, K-6 Math (Common Core proficient), and Science. I have an English Literature BA, Literacy Education K-12 MA, and a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Certificate, as well 18 graduate level Science credits. I really enjoy teaching. There is a great reward in knowing that you have enabled someone to unlock his or her potential to learn and enjoy school. I enjoy motivating young minds to become better.

He is very professional. Love the techniques he uses to teach; he mainly teaches 12 year old's so his technique simplifies whatever you learning for any age. Also very punctual.

Pricing is based on location, frequency, and duration. Rates are negotiable within reson.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will evaluate a learning style, personality, and current school performance. Then the student and I will work on strategies, skills, and learning goals coinciding with school assignments, standardized tests, and benchmark assessments.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in English Literature. I also possess a Literacy Education (birth - 12 grade) MA. I have an advanced certificate in STEM education ( science, technology, engineering, math). I have graduate level Science related coursework as well. I am currently in the process of furthering my education through different educational grants and programs that are enabling me to achieve graduate credits in science related courses.
