BHZ Tile Construction LLC craftsmanship is SUPERB!!! He is very meticulous in tile placement, works very neat/clean and takes his time constructing the backsplash. Raphael (Tech) was also very knowledgeable about his craft. Prior to starting the job, he explained that the grout would not be as dark as the tile. It will dries a little lighter. So he is very informative before starting the job. He exhibits a great personality as he works. Didn’t mind annswer any questions I asked with a smile. He aims to please with his tile work. He also came to my home to assess the job & didn’t charge me a fee. I noticed that many of the tile businesses on Thumbtack charges a assessment fee. It was a breath of fresh air working with BHZ Tile Construction LLC!!!! I plan to hirer him again for a job in my kitchen. I highly recommend this company!!

Rafael at BHZ went above and beyond on my project using handmade terracotta tiles. It was a challenging install due to the organic/irregular shape of the tiles and the very porous material. The result was artisan level and I am very pleased! I must also mention that he shifted his dates up to accommodate an unexpected early delivery of the tile and he and his crew showed up in a snow storm to move 800 square feet of material up to a 4th floor condo! He even came back, after payment, to apply an extra layer of sealant after I voiced concerns about the porosity (not his fault, just very thirsty clay tile). If you are like me, with beer budget and champagne taste, Rafael is your guy! I would definitely recommend and hope to use again.
