Introduction: In my studio I have piano, drum set, mallet instruments, timpani, traps, hand drums and latin percussion instruments for my students to play during their lessons. I also have audio and video recording equipment there so the students can hear and see themselves play to help them see where they shine and where they can afford to improve. I have many years of experience teaching and performing and I am a candidate for a doctorate in music performance at Rutgers University. I love being my own boss and being able to run my business in the way that best accommodates the needs of my students. I enjoy performing but teaching is my greatest passion. Because I have 2 young kids of my own I enjoy working with children and I can teach them with patience and understanding. During the covid-19 pandemic I have started teaching online lessons exclusively since the safety of my clients is my number one concern. My rate for online lessons is the same as my rate for lessons at my studio. I will continue offering online lessons moving forward as an option for anyone who prefers that over in-person lessons.

Scott is very talented musician with mastry over several instruments. He is also very methodological, patient and accommodating tutor of music , my kids are his students, I am amazed how much they have picked up under his guidance in small period of time. I highly recommend him.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons from Scott for about 2 1/2 years. I love that he comes to our home and I also love being able to hear how the lesson is progressing. Scott is a patient and talented instructor, he makes her feel good when she does something well and he keeps her focused as they review things she has trouble with. We are very pleased!

For the past 2+ years I have studied the xylophone with Scott. His an excellent teacher- patient, knowledgeable, positive and serious in his approach, loves music & I know he expects the best from me. I have a sense of accomplishment & look forward to my weekly lessons. If one is serious about music instruction, they couldn't have a better teacher then Scott. These videos show that instruction will come from an accomplished musician. I am very happy to be his student.

I offer a discount for online lessons and for students willing to come to my studio in Old Bridge for their lessons.

I pride myself on being very patient with my students and tailoring my teaching style to suit their learning style.

I have a master of music degree from mason gross school of the arts. I also have a drum set performance certificate from Grant Macewan College.
