My choices about what I liked about Kill Mold were: Work Quality, Punctuality, Professionalism, Responsiveness, and Value.....I liked them all but it only let me pick three! From the moment I inquired to the end of my job the Kill Mold staff was prompt, professional, courteous, conscientious, knowledgable about mold and the NON-TOXIC, human and pet friendly product they use to treat the mold! Their price was very fair and workmanship impeccable. I highly recommend them to anyone who has an issue with mold. They even offer an option to have mold samples taken before and after the job for added peace of mind and the samples are analyzed by a neutral third party lab!

Kill Mold contacted us immediately and we scheduled an appointment. However, on the day of the appointment, I received a call from Chase saying that the appointment was being canceled because of the weather (mind you the roads were clear). My husband calmly expressed his displeasure and we were informed that someone would call us back. Chase was very polite and rescheduled our appointment for the following day (today). We received multiple text messages cimfirming our appointment for today. Each text had the name of a different inspextor. I then received a call from a different person named Scott Handsen. Scott identified hinself and asked if this was Veronica. I said yes. He then said in an aggressive tone that he was told by his company, that my husband was extremely upset about him cancelling the appointment and stated that he wanted to know since he was driving an hour whether my husband was going to be a problem! I tried to understand what he was saying and sought clarification expressing to him, that I wished to be spoken to respectfully. He became very loud and I cancelled the appointment. I will not be doing business with this company.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our mold estimates are FREE! Air samples are $325+tax for 3 samples with a 48 hr turnaround time. House sweeps will deodorize your home from smoky and musty smells, wet dog smells, pet urine smells, and more, all for $350+tax. Take advantage of our Mold Match 20 promotions, where we match the scope of work and automatically take 20% off a competitor's estimate, as long as they are licensed and insured and we haven't already given you an estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If we don't see mold or want to confirm the type of mold, we recommend samples. If we think it's something that your insurance company may cover, we advise you to contact them. We don't use scare tactics to make you believe that there is mold when there isn't.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are CMRC and IAQ certified.
