Introduction: I offer home inspections within the state of New Jersey. I use an aerial scanner for the roof and gutter system inspections. I am one of the very few home inspectors who uses this aerial scanner, and it is part of every inspection at no extra charge. This tool allow me to get to those areas that were not possible before. My clients have an option of a canister or computer when selecting radon testing. I am a certified infrared thermographer for the use of thermal imaging with your inspection and/or as a separate service. I have the equipment to conduct air spore testing for the detection of mold spores. I further use a Tramex wet wall moisture meter for the detection and evaluation of stucco exteriors. I am a certfied ASHI home inspector and a board member of Southern NJ ASHI. The only wrong question is the question a client does not ask. Clients need to understand that selecting a good home inspector is not as easy as buying a container of milk. When selecting the home inspector make sure he will take the time to answer your questions and how long he expects to be in the home. Select a Certified ASHI Home Inspector since ASHI sets the standards for the industry. Not every home inspector can qualify to be an ASHI Inspector. You should look at the kind of report the inspector will give you and will that report include pictures. It is also important to know what additional service the Home Inspector can offer you to avoid further delays on obtaining all the information needed.
