I would absolutely hire Martin again for any work I needed done! I was in a bind because I was moving and couldn’t get a valuable piece of furniture out of a room without the whole door frame coming off. Martin really bailed me out..I only had a few days before the movers were coming and he agreed to come over the day of my move, take off the door frame and put it back up while the moving was going on. And the door frame looks just like it did before when he reinstalled it! Thanks again Martin!

hello i understand the confusion but again i never approved auto booking so im not sure why thumbtack let you do auto book with me especially because i focus mainly on bigger projects such as decks and remodels, im sorry for the confusion and the mix up.

This service appointment for painting one room, my kitchen, 2 coats, was set up ONE MONTH in advance. The price was negotiated from $350 down to $300. Excluding the paint cost, which I had already purchased. Fine. Late the night before (9:30pm) I was told that the appointment had to be changed to 12:00pm instead of 9:00am, and that somebody else would be doing it. Well, OK, so long as he is another professional. I agreed without argument or complaining. However, NOBODY showed up at noon. Nobody showed up at 1:00pm. Nobody showed up at all. Not only that, NOBODY even called or texted me to say they would be late or that they had to cancel because a meteorite hit them or whatever. Needless to say, I will never be looking for help from this "professional" and possibly no longer from ThumbTack, either.

mr william is 100% correct with this review, he called me twice after 12 oclock and i didnt have my phone on me , i tried to call him later on he answerd the phone very calm and i apologized but understandably he didnt want to hear it, i tried to explain to him the situation but again he was upset and has every right to be, i am taking full responsibilty for the lack of communication
