FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is a standard charge of $75.00 to come and troubleshoot the problem and if service is wanted there would be additional charges depending on if any parts will be needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I would contact the customer and talk to them to find out what type of problem they are having and type of computer they are having trouble with. By understanding the problem and the type of computer I can sometimes determine the cause and order the part needed to fix the problem before I get to the customer which can save down time for the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in the computer industry as a engineer for the past 37 years working on Main Frame computers and PC's. I have a certificate from Control Data Corp for computer engineering and worked for Motorola and Digital Equipment Corp as a computer engineer.
