We hired Rodger to DJ our party at Raven and the Peach in Fair Haven and we're glad we did! He is a true professional. He made some very helpful suggestions in the planning stages. He arrived early and had done his homework to prepare exactly what we asked. He checked with us periodically through the entire event to be sure we were satisfied. Rodger is very personable, flexible, reliable, and was attentive and responsive to whatever we asked of him. Many of our guests gave us very positive feedback -- he really cares about what he does and is a pleasure to work with. We'd hire him again in a "New Jersey" minute.

My mom and I hired Rodger for my dad's surprise 50th Birthday party. Rodger's performance was truly beyond our expectations. He was in contact with us 2 months prior to the party. Asking about playlist, what he could help us with, and making sure we were doing ok with everything leading up to the party. He arrived at the venue hours before the party started just to set up and do sound checks. It was amazing! As soon as he arrived to the party he started joking and laughing with me. I felt like I knew him for years. He is soooo friendly. He did an amazing job with Trivia questions about my dad, he really knows how to interact with the crowds. My mom was concerned since it was a 50th Birthday party not many people would dance. But Rodger defiantly know's how to start a party. He had everyone up and dancing and singing karaoke. He knew what music to play. He was taking requests all night long. He also kept the crowd informed of what time my dad was coming, he would give a 10 min Waring, then 5, then saying ok everyone line up, he's in the parking lot! My dad's party was Philadelphia Flyers themed. So I asked Rodger if he could play the "flyers horn, Rocky theme song, and God bless america" After we yelled surprise. He put it all together so wonderfully. Like I said he really was beyond our expectations. I also over heard some of our guest say "The DJ is amazing, if we have a party we want to hire him" :) I'm so glad we decided on Rodger as our DJ, he made the party an absolute blast!!! My family and I will also be keeping Rodger in mind for any upcoming occasions! Thank you so much Rodger! Nicole B.

Hiring Rodger for my daughter's 40th birthday party was the first time that I have ever hired a DJ, and I wasn't sure what to expect. Since I found Rodger's pricing to be the most reasonable from among the others so I decided to go with him. I am sure glad that I did! Rodger not only met, but exceeded my expectations! He provided a wonderful, fun time at the party and even went out of his way to be sure to involve all of the little kids in the fun as well. I totally appreciated the way that Rodger kept on checking with me throughout the evening to ensure that the music was exactly what I wanted, which it was! He also provided karaoke at no extra charge, which was definitely an added bonus and provided all the more fun! It was a pleasure dealing with Rodger. Several people from my party now want to hire Rodger for their upcoming events. Thank you Rodger for a truly wonderful FUN evening! I would not have had you change a thing!

I've served as PTA President in my son's grammar school for six consecutive years (often referred to as my "6 year sentence" :) so I actually enjoy keeping the kids happy while the adults "play"! It was my pleasure to stay the extra hour as everyone was having to much fun to leave!

NJ Sings is without hesitation the B E S T!!! Attentive to details, checked out the venue well in advance and just prior to the day of the event, went over our song choices and made great suggestions,too! The equipment is high quality, just as the DJ is! He gave extra time and was well dressed, too. He just kept the party moving the entire night and we can't wait for the next event. No questions about the high quality and just perfect entertainment!!! It was beyond our expectations! A happy Bride and Groom with still aching feet from a full night of dancing!

What types of customers have you worked with?
NJ Sings, LLC provides a quality DJ service and specializes in playing the music that you and your guests want to hear. We specialize in any type of party ranging from Birthdays to Weddings. In addition we provide the option for you and your guests to sing as well! We have over 180,000 songs in our karaoke data base. Some people have a blast with it and some decide not to sing. Either way its a terrific addition when hiring our services. Most parties that we have been hired for have involved a special birthday, wedding celebrations or a even a corporate event. Our goal when hired for any type of party is to get people involved and have fun! That is what we do best; provide the tools for people to have fun.. and we completely enjoy doing it! Read our reviews on thumbtack.. every party is treated as special as can be.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure to check the DJ's reviews and make sure that they are legit. I have seen my competitors "smokescreen" a bad review by cutting and pasting MANY reviews above it with what looks to be a mile long of "copy/paste" gibberish. Each review on Thumbtack should have a blue or orange font/header above each individual client comment. Also, a real review on Thumbtack is labeled as a "verified review." All others could of been written by the DJ himself. In addition, be sure to ask your DJ if he or she will be working the party themselves or if will they be "subbed out" to another DJ. Many DJ's obtain a job and then "sub" it out to a lessor quality DJ thereby profiting on your party while not caring who entertains. When hiring someone that is given the responsibility in making your party as great as it can be, be sure to provide that person with as much information as you can. Let that person know your favorite songs, your favorite type of music and even a few names of "key party attendees" for that person to zero in on. Having your DJ be completely in tune with your party will make that party the best that it can be!! Make sure that they listen to you and clearly understand the type of music in which you desire. Most importantly; Be sure to read the accurate reviews of that company prior to hiring them...
