- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I would like to be able to discuss the price and negotiate if necessary. I either quote per person or give a bulk fee but usually with a huge discount. If you aren't satisfied with the pricing then please talk to me and I will do something that we are both satisfied with.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ideally, I like to spend a few minutes to get to know the client or organization that I would be catering for and what they are looking for. I also share a little about myself and experience. The next step is to go into more detail planning e.g. their theme, menu, quantities, some clients ask for a meeting to sample or tasting etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My experience comes from years of cooking for friends and family. I have traveled extensively to over 47 Countries and I have lived in 5 different Countries. Being a foodie I have tried many cuisines and I have collected many many recipes. I have tried some of these recipes and would even say I have perfected some of them. I have a background in Public Health and Health Education so I am quite versed in food safety as well.
