Leslie is so fun to work with - she listened to all my requests and ultimately created a beautiful poster for my film. I gave her a good amount of feedback, and she always proved open and responsive, which made the process both fun and easy. I will absolutely reach out to her again for my graphic design needs!Mar 24, 2020Verified
Leslie was nothing but an absolute pleasure to work with! She created our company logo and some marketing materials for our new business venture in such rapid time and we were so delighted with our results! She was extremely prompt with responses, gave us honest feedback and really put her years of expertise to show. My business partner and I highly recommend Leslie for your design needs ! -Kaylie Hughes from Dream Theme EventsJan 14, 2020Verified
During my 13 year tenure as President of the BMI Foundation, Leslie Morgan was my go to design person for all our publicity and our corporate image work. She oversaw an extensive review of the Foundation's materials and through the years I was continually delighted with her ability to completely capture in design the essence of our various programs and to find fresh ways to convey our message. She is throughly professional, always responsive, and a savvy strategist. I recommend her and her work most highly.Oct 9, 2019
Leslie is a pioneer in the design world and expert marketeer who has created all of the elements of so many successful campaigns. I am so blessed to have worked with Leslie over the last 20 years!Jan 13, 2020
Leslie designed my debut CD package. I’ve released 6 more CDs since then, but hers remains my favorite. She’s a great listener and communicator, a total pro, and her artistic skill combined with business savvy elevated my work significantly. When I asked Chris Morris from Billboard why he pulled my indie CD from hundreds and subsequently featured me in the magazine, he said, “The cover.”Jan 13, 2020
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For all projects, prices can be negotiated and after consultation with the client, it can be decided if we will go with an hourly rate ($50) or a flat fee. There are many factors to determining which payment method works better and could include: the scope of project, anticipated amount of revisions or simply what the client is comfortable with. Either way, you get top-notch design. If you hire me for logo design, I have a flat fee starting at $298.00.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to consult with the client by phone to determine the scope of the job, timing and if we both feel like it's a good fit to work together. This way we can be on the same page moving forward. I can then provide an estimate, either number of hours or flat fee. Once we are in agreement I create a creative brief/agreement describing exactly what is expected including the estimate. The creative brief would be the same as a contract that we both sign -- I provide what is described in the brief and you agree to pay. I ask for 50% payment up front and the remainder upon completion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? The best teacher I've had has been over 20 years experience in graphic design. Early in my career after I was already working as an in-house designer at a large music company, I attended classes at Parson's School of Design. These classes helped clarify and validate what I was already doing. I have experience working with a variety of clients with a diversity of aesthetic inclinations and they have all walked away as a happy customer.
