- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When searching for a henna artist, be sure to look at her/his portfolio of work and consider the following questions: 1. Always know what is in your henna paste You have the right to know what is in your paste that will be used on your skin. If your Henna artist uses natural paste, they will not fear any questions that you ask. Look out for Black henna and make sure they are not using any oils or things you are allergic to. 2. How much variety is in her style? Take a look at their portfolio to get an idea of their experience. You want an artist who can mix styles and create a style that is special to you. 3. How professional is the artist? Will the artist show up on time? Is she clear about her pricing?is she willing to accommodate to your busy schedule? 4. Is the art hers? some artists may steal another artists work and commend that it is theirs. Look for watermarks or simply ask them if the work is theirs. (some artists may purchase e-books which is fine, as long as they don't claim the work as their own)
