My son had a very good experience with Linda as she helped him catch up after an extended absence and enabled him to receive full credit for a high school English class. Linda was patient and caring towards a less than enthusiastic student, and also skilled at motivating someone who is not keen on writing essays. The experience was a very positive one, and Linda's efforts led to success for my son.

Our session with Linda at College Coaching with Care was very good use of our time & money. Linda came prepared to share a wide range of skills she has, i.e., critical thinking and problem solving just to name a few, to help our son Joe when taking the PSATs/SATs. Joe is a junior in high school and we wanted to begin thinking about the steps he would take to get him ready for exams and the general overall college process. I would recommend Linda if your son/daughter are preparing for exams and college.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a writer for as long as I could hold a pen. When I was in 8th grade my Guidance Counselor hired me to tutor a disabled girl after school. I have been writing and teaching and helping others with the gifts I've been given and the skills I have acquired ever since. It is most definitely my passion.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with many students on essays, for college and for classes. Essay writing can be challenging and I provide them steps and tips to produce the kind of quality work they want. I also work as a freelance writer and editor for companies producing brochures, letters, white papers and web copy mostly.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are two schools of thought on writing. One is that you hire a specialist and figure they can write about what they know; the other is that you hire someone who can write and they can write about anything they learn about. I recommend and am a proponent of the latter and believe that as a professional I can quickly learn any subject and have the right skills to present it in the best possible manner to communicate the right and most effective message.
