Introduction
How we began – Charlie Costello was a homeowner shopping for a roof. When he called around to local roofers, no one picked up the phone. No one called back except for just one and they offered to come out weeks later. Charlie later discovered that one of the most popular roofers in the area slogan was “If you call, I’ll show up”. Charlie realized that the local roofing industry was operating at the lowest standard and believed he could do better, and Costello Roofing was born.

Back in 2010 my father hired Costello roof to do the job on our house in Ventnor. Charlie was a very memorable character and the job went great. They were in and out in one day including all trash removal. Spectacular. Last week we noticed a small leak in the living room so I called them to come out and look at it. I explained that I wasnt looking for any type of warranty since it had been almost eight years just the problem solved. Mike came out and checked the roof finding no problems. He did however spot an old window that wasnt sealed properly any longer, and took care of it while he was up there, NO CHARGE ! This is the type of customer service that once existed everywhere but seems to have disappeared. Its nice to know it still exists at Costello roofing. Great job guys, thumbs up to you. I will recommend to my friends and neighbors. ~ Neil ~

My experience with Costello Roofing was very positive. Initially, Mike Messina gave me truthful insights regarding my old 100 foot long barn roof. I had spoken to several other roofing companies about my 32 year old roof. It needed to be replaced sooner than later. This was a big job considering the size of the structure and the time of year. Within two weeks, they came on January 14, 2019, which was the second day after it had snowed 4 inches. The Costello four man crew cleared off the remaining snow and ice slush and started the job despite the 17 degree temperature on Tuesday. Yesterday, January 17, 2019, they finished the job on time and budget despite the cold weather. They cleaned up the area after they finished. These folks work! They are courteous and professional. I want to thank Damien too. He stayed in touch with the crew and visited the job site periodically. I highly recommend Costello roofing for any size roof job. Thank you, Bill M.

Very easy to work with Costello roofing company. Everything done via email and was quick to make a couple of changes at my request. Damien was my contact and he's always quick to respond, pre and post installation. The crew arrived around 8am and finished around 7pm the same day. Very thorough cleanup after. Very happy with the new roof to prepare for the solar system installation.Prior to deciding to go with Costello, I met with 3 other roofing companies. Two of them quoted much higher prices and the sales rep were very shady to say the least and employed high pressure tactics. The other was actually slightly cheaper than Costello and appeared to be trustworthy, but I decided to work with Costello in the end since they were much more responsive to my inquiries.I wanted to add that the new roof with the newly installed ridge vent (also with upgraded breathable underlayment though not sure if that has a contributing factor) made a very noticeable difference upstairs on a hot summer day. With the old roof on a 90 degree day, it would be very stuffy upstairs and the AC (set to 82 during the day) would have to run for a long time to cool it. With the new roof it no longer feels super stuffy on a hot day and the AC rarely even kicks in.

Costello roof and solar completely solved a problem that I was having. My previously installed roof top solar panels were trapping a lot of blowing leaves under the panels. This wet, soggy debris was not good for the panels or my roof. C Costello Roof + Solar had a perfect solution that no one else was offering. A coated mesh net could be installed around the perimeter of the solar panel system. This system would prevent leaf buildup and birds or squirrels from also nesting under the panels. The installers arrived on time, went over the entire installation with me and took before and after pictures of the debris being removed from under my panels and sent these to me. Anyone with a similar problem or with animals nesting under their solar panels should get in touch with C. Costello Roof + Solar. Good local company to work with.
