Karl is great, I have now worked with him for 3 weeks and I have been really enjoying our sessions. He is incredibly professional, thoroughly assesses your needs and prepares as well as modifies your workout accordingly. He is an experienced trainer and uses a wide array of training modules to include TRX, kettle bells, weights, High Intensity Interval Training, Kick boxing and Pilates among others. Karl has certainly given me the motivation to train harder and even within the first three weeks I can see significant difference in strength and endurance as well as body shape. I have been going to the gym for years but have never had such a shift particularly in such a short period of time. Above all Karl is very pleasant to work with and takes your fitness and health very seriously.
I cant say enough positive things about Judy! I trained with her for many months before my wedding and could not have asked for a sweeter, knowledgable, encouraging and patient trainer. She met me at my fitness level, and knew how to build more challenging workouts through the course of our time together. I was very happy with the results of our twice weekly sessions and felt stronger, trimmer and more confident for my wedding. Just the greatest!
I have been practicing with Dina for a couple of years. She has a wonderful personality and is genuinely concerned with her students well being. She is a great teacher with lots of patience and makes you feel at ease. Dina is sweet and encouraging while making class fun but challenging. Never any judgements. She is always accommodating and I really appreciate her flexibility with my schedule. I highly recommend Dina's Yoga and Pilates Instruction!!
Went to Emily's Pilates class and had a great time. She really pushed you but was very encouraging about. She was also good at making small physical adjustments without being awkward about it. I would definitely recommend her and the class.
I recently started training with Dianne, and I am very happy with the challenging yet "soft" regime, particularly because of my goal of building muscle but remaining feminine in appearance. The combination of yoga, TRX, and Pilates, makes for a perfect training routine for me. I would reccomend Dianne to anyone looking for solid training.
Christine is a fantastic Pilates instructor (she was my first and has been pretty much my only Pilates instructor) and I feel like I hit the Pilates jackpot.
undefinedI have always been a hard core hot yoga fan but after i had reconstructive surgery on my ankle in May 2015 I was unable to do that kind of workout while recovering. After 5 months into recovery I was given the green light that I could start working out but I was very limited in what I could actually do. Jen had suggested I try Pilates and that she would tailor the workout to meet my needs. I have taken Pilates at NYSC and never really liked it so I agreed to workout with Jen but wasn't really sure what to expect. Jen tailored the entire workout to positions that I could do while focusing on my injury and my form. At first I was not good and had a hard time holding positions or even doing them properly but Jen was able to work with me one-on-one to teach me the correct form. Jen is extremely focused and makes Pilates fun. She prepares each week to customize the workout so that I am progressing. I have actually become pretty good and look forward to our Pilates session each week. I have become stronger and my body is becoming much more toned When I started with Jen I was also in Physical Therapy twice a week and working from home and adding Jen to my recovery plan has helped me progress extremely quickly. I am just about done with Physical Therapy, going into the office full time, and have returned my normal life. Thank you so much Jen! When I first started with Jen I was a beginner and now I am intermediate and even able to do some advanced positions. I recommend Jen regardless of your level. She will customize your session to meet your needs and you will have a great time working out!

Steph was phenomenal. I've been in the movement/fitness world for years and she was able to put me through training that I've never encountered before AND was a ton of fun. It was intense, new, introspective, creative, and playful. I can't emphasize enough the play component. It wasn't about moving/working out only because it's good for you but because it can be fun to play! The entire time, Steph was encouraging, adapting to my unique needs, explaining the reason behind each thing we did, and keeping it fun, even when it was hard. You'll feel alive in your body from working with Steph.
Use them for yoga and Pilates. Their coaches are AMAZING, professional. Best investment I ever made! Worth every penny and superior to other trainers I've used. Best value!
I have had several personal training sessions with Dale, with the focus being pilates and stretching. He brings many gifts to his work, including clarity in his explanation of exercises (helpful for someone like me who is directionally challenged!!), patience, good humor, and constant encouragement. He is not in a rush to get through the routine, and it seems as if he is a good judge of a client's progress, and plans for the next session accordingly. In my estimation he is well worth the time and money. I'm very happy to have gotten to know him, as he is a sweet and caring guy, and I appreciate his expertise. I totally recommend him.
Lenny and Dario at Personal Best are...well...the best!!! I cannot say enough good things about them. Within the first year of training there I was down 80 pounds!!! I am coming to the end of year number two with an additional 30 pounds lost for a total of 110 pounds that went bye-bye. That's the obvious benefit of my time at PB Fitness. Their facility is always clean and has the latest equipment. They are always furthering their own education researching the latest in diet and exercise and bringing that education to their clients. I've become so interested in diet and fitness because of the gym that I've started down the road of becoming a trainer myself. Another thing I love is their attention to me as an individual. They do not have cookie cutter big box gym diet and exercise programs that they just hand out to everyone. They take the time to understand what I specifically needed. Took into account past injuries, what I enjoy doing, what my specific goals are, and things like family history, allergies, and food sensitivities on the diet side. Checking in with me multiple times a week via text and phone keeps me motivated and gives me a feeling like I am part of their family. Give them a try...your body will thank you!!!
