FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge for exactly how much time I spend working for you. Unlike some others, I don't charge you for 3 hours of labor when I spend 1 hour working on your issue. You are only charged for the time it takes to fix the issue at hand. Many customers find that their bill at the end of the process is actually lower than they had originally been quoted! While the above applies to labor, the customer is responsible for purchase of any replacement parts that may be needed. If there is hardware that is needed and the customer would prefer to purchase it through me, I do not place a markup on that hardware - the customer pays what I pay.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I very much want to get involved as quickly as is convenient for you so that we can get your issue resolved. The process is very simple - the customer and I speak, we determine what the problem is or the goal that we are trying to reach, and we then schedule a time for the work to be done. I say "we" because I truly believe that the customer and I are "one" - and I encourage my customers to think of me as an extension of themselves, or their business. I always have the customer's best interest in mind.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have multiple CompTIA, Microsoft and VMWare certifications as well as a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.
