Introduction: I am a graduate of The Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC. I have styled photo shoots for glossy magazines, numerous fashion shows and for charity events in NYC. I have worked backstage at New York Fashion Week helping A-List Fashion Designers put on a show stopping runway presentation. I worked as a Freelance Fashion Stylist at Net-A-Porter where I helped pull the looks for the online site. I have my own fashion blog called Fashion Development Group which covers trends and industry news and updates. I was featured by the Digital Stylists Network As a Personal Shopper and Image Consultant, I can help you pull together a polished and professional wardrobe, whether it be for a book club meeting, an outdoor BBQ, or a black tie wedding. I can often get you the labels for less after we decide on an outfit. I really enjoyed the closet “clean out” and the revamping of my current wardrobe along with our shopping adventure. Sheryl is easy going and there wasn’t any pressure. She was completely honest about items that were not flattering on me helping me to make wise decisions on my purchases. Sheryl was conscious of my budget and came prepared with coupons + discount codes that I used to save on almost every item I purchased. This was a worthwhile, value-packed, successful and fun experience . I have already lined up future appointments with Sheryl. She is FIT trained as a Stylist and it shows!!! I am very happy with my new updated look. It has boosted my confidence and my self-esteem. I look forward to our next appointment.

Although I am not finished working with Fashion development group, I chose Sheryl because of her close proximity to the location I needed as well as her affordable price. So far, we had two appointments and she was very punctual and helpful. We need to buy three outfits for my mother-in-law who is wheelchair-bound for my daughter's upcoming Bat Mitzvah. We are still in the process and hope to post photos when we are finished.

I used Sheryl last year to help me pick a dress for a wedding. I had just lost 50 pounds and wanted to get "out of my box" as far as selecting a dress. This proved harder for me than I thought. Sheryl and I were in contact through e-mail prior to our joint shopping excursion. She sent me pictures of several dresses. I was worried that they would be to far outside the "box". When we met, Sheryl understood my concerns but asked me to trust her and just "try on" what she suggested. I agreed. At the end of the trip I ended up with not one but three dresses. Sheryl also helped me accessorize one of the dresses. The "icing on the cake" was how I felt and the wonderful comments I received from friends at the wedding. I put my trust in Sheryl and am glad I did.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of FIT in NYC where I took classes in Fashion Styling. I have styled many many looks for the Net-A-Porter website. I have a great eye for mixing and matching.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have ALWAYS been a Fashionista!!! Shopping is my favorite hobby and makes me feel special. I want my clients to experience that same inner glow and joy.
