FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally offer an hourly fee for litigation, although I have and will work on a contingent basis, depending on the nature of the action. For transactional work, I offer either a flat fee for the task or hourly fees and I let my client decide which works best for him or her. I generally handle immigration on a flat fee basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I provide a free initial evaluation. During this process, I discuss with my potential client what he or she is looking to do, what his or her ultimate goal is, what issues need to be confronted, what the timeline is, how I will approach the assignment what the potential client would like to see from me. I will try to provide several solutions and discuss the benefits and problems with each. I will also ask the potential client precisely how they would like me to approach the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have successfully completed hundreds of corporate transactions and securities offerings. I have drafted hundreds of corporate and individual documents relating to the operation of the business, including employment contracts, buy-sell agreements and purchase agreements. I have, on immigration, handled several One Step family green card filings and dealt with the issues involved with it. On the litigation side, I have litigated many, many actions to judgment and through appeal. I have litigated corporate matters, employment matters, injury issues, securities matters, class actions and complex litigation.
