FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge $60 dollars an hour depending on the amount of time that is desired. As blocks of time increase my hourly wage decreases. For example, a 10 hour block would be the normal rate at $60. A 20 hour block would decrease the rate to $55 an hour, 30 hours would decrease it to $50. Projects requiring more than 30 hours are negotiable depending on the desired work schedule.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Identify their specific needs, organize and plan a method to meet those needs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working with synthesizers, sequencers, drum machines, guitars and amplifiers since 1985. I attended the new school for social research and enrolled in their audio engineering program. After graduation I worked in many recording studios in New York City until I decided to open my own in 1992.
