Introduction: We offer a wide array of American Heart Association courses. Our courses include CPR and First Aid to healthcare providers, childcare providers, professionals, workplace/office workers, students and everyone who has a heart and has breath! Our services are: * healthcare provider/AED, * heartsaver/AED * heartsaver/First Aid * Friends and family * Adult, child and infant * Awareness and certification classes Training is offered anytime may it be day or night, weekday or weekend with flexible times and reasonable rates. We are mobile. We will bring our high quality American Heart Association certified instruction to your facility. Discounts are available to your corporation or non-profit agency. Group and individual classes are available. Group discounts of 5 or more will be applied. Fees charged do not represent revenue to the American Heart Association or its affiliates. The BLS for healthcare provider course is designed for healthcare providers with direct patient contact. Examples include but not limited too: EMTs, paramedics, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, PAs, MDs, etc. The course is approximately 4-5 hours in length and has a written exam at its conclusion. The American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS) training reinforces healthcare professionals' understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival. There is a re-certification option available for those person(s) whose certificate is still valid. The Recertification course can only be taken by those healthcare professionals who have already taken BLS and whose certification will not expire prior to the course. A valid Healthcare Provider CPR card/copy will be needed. Heartsaver CPR/AED is designed for the lay rescuer who does have not direct patient contact on a daily basis. The certification is valid for two years from successful completion. In order to recertify, the lay rescuer musty enroll in the full course as there is no recertification course. The course time is approximately 3-4 hours. The American Heart Association is making workplaces across the country safer for employees, vendors, and customers. Training in first aid, CPR, and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) is making a difference. The Friends & Family Course is for those who want to learn CPR and do not require certification such as: Moms, dads, grandparents, siblings, caregivers, friends, even perfect strangers are now able to deliver lifesaving care, thanks to American Heart Association's Community Training programs. Some groups that might be interested but not limited to are: • Parent/teacher associations • Workplace wellness programs • Neighborhood associations • Middle and high school students • Churches and Childcare workers • Day Care Centers and Nursing Homes The Friends and Family Course is also offered in Spanish/Español. The course is approximately 2-3 hours in length. Our staff are experienced practitioners and knowledgeable instructors who strive to meet the demands of our course participants. Our staff is here to assist everyone to ensure that they receive a well rounded and thorough experience.
