Was great for our small Halloween wedding we had a couple years back on the beach. Thought I had left a review I must have forgotten. He was very prompt,professional and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend!

We hired Chris for our wedding this past July and he did an amazing job. At first I was a little scared to be hiring wedding vendors via Thumbtack but it turned out I had nothing to worry about at all. Chris stayed in touch with us during the months leading up to the wedding to get a feel for what kind of shots we would like and a timeline of the day. If we had any questions he was a great source of information for us. I also wasn't sure how comfortable I would feel with a male photographer in the room with us while we were getting ready but Chris was very respectful and professional. Unfortunately, we were running so late getting ready and in such a rush to get to the church that we weren't able to get too many of the classic shots like of all the bridesmaids lined up in our robes together or anything, but with the chaos of it all Chris still managed to get a few of my mom helping me fix up my dress and hair, and plenty of candids while everyone was getting ready. We got our pictures back so fast after the wedding and there are so many gems in there. We are not models by any means but with the help of a great photographer there is some magic that can happen. Chris really is talented and knew exactly how to get the best lighting in our photos and capture the background scenery the best, and pose us since we had no idea what we were doing. He was also great about directing our guests gently and with good humor when they were getting too close with their own cell phones and getting in the way of some of the special pictures we wanted captured. We definitely recommend The Life of Riley photography for weddings and will certainly keep Chris in mind for all our future photography needs!

Chris was a blessing to our wedding day (11/2/19). He took the time before our wedding to ensure he understood our vision. The day of he was WONDERFUL. I trusted him fully and am glad I did. While we did not receive all our photos yet, the previews we've seen are breathtaking. Our wedding party, family and friends were also all impressed by his professionalism, friendliness, and quality of photography. The amount he charged for both number of hours and quality of photos is nothing short of a miracle. I cannot recommend Chris enough to anyone needing photography for any occasion. My now husband and I already decided we will use Chris for our future events!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is very flexible and affordable, I have plans for every budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process goes like this, once you decide you want me to photograph your special day you just give me the date, time, and address. I'll be there on time and with on and off camera flash as needed/wanted and backups for everything. I edit all the photos and get them back to you online within a week. At that point you own all your photos for whatever you want, there are no additional costs!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I work in Information Technology software that helps me with all software needed for editing. I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science and years of photography experience.
