- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing is derived from the complexity of the work, but we do typically base our monthly bookkeeping package on a simple formula. If you take your average monthly transactions (every time you SPEND money), and multiply that number by three, that should give you an understanding of what our monthly service package would cost. Tax returns are based solely on their complexity, but our rates are competitive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first start with an in depth interview to ensure that we have the full financial picture of you as as individual. If you have a business we will conduct a similar evaluation. This will involve reviewing tax returns, as well as an in depth questionnaire lead by our lead accountant. This process will typically take about 2 hours, but can go longer depending on the complexities involved in your personal situation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our lead accountant has his masters in Accounting, as well as being certified as an Enrolled Agent. We have two other staff members, one of which is a degreed accountant who is also quickbooks pro certified, and we have another team member who holds their CPA license.
