Editing, Tutoring & Translation

Introduction: I provide clear and concise translations of Japanese text into English on tight deadlines and within space limits. My specialties are artistic captions, film synopses, and web content -- short, descriptive copy for all purposes. I also tutor one-on-one or in small groups at your home or in a designated meeting place. (Quiet coffee shops often work well.) My lessons focus on participatory language acquisition; you will learn the parts of language you want to use. I can teach to tests (such as the JLPT) as the occasion requires, but it is best for your memory if we can connect the test material with your interests and converse in Japanese at your level.
