Introduction: I strive to properly assess each client's individual needs in order to design a tailored and progressive exercise program that achieves maximum results in a minimum amount of time. I train my clients in their homes and provide all necessary equipment. My programs include cardio, weight training, balance/coordination and flexibility training as well as kickboxing; each program is individually tailored to each client's needs, wants and goals.

Jim is awesome at encouraging me to work out hard. He believes in my ability to push that last rep or run that last mile so much that I start believing it too! Most of the time he’s right and I’m amazed at what I can accomplish. On those few occasions when we’re both wrong and I don’t finish my workout, he never makes me feel like a failure. He’s taught me something huge. Instead of saying “I can’t” say “not yet”! If you’re going to invest your time and money to hire a trainer, I highly recommend this guy. Also, if you’re interested in martial arts let him know. He’s got a lot of experience in MMA and Kung Fu and can incorporate that knowledge in your workout. He’s given me some valuable lessons that I now take wherever I go!

For the past few months, I have been training with Jim to get ready for a marathon. He designed a workout program that was geared towards achieving my fitness goals. I was always challenged with each workout and definitely feel faster and stronger. I was introduced to different exercises that I normally wouldn't have done on my own. Jim was always on time for each training session and communicated effectively if any session had to be changed to a different day/time.

Jim is very good. When I first met him he took the time to REALLY listen to my history, concerns and limitations. Very refreshing. I suffer from lower back pain and have issues with crunches/sit ups. He worked with me making a routine that worked for my lower back pain but still allowing me to achieve my goals. Actually the workouts he did with me have done wonders for my lower back. You won't find a trainer that cares more about his clients!

Jim was my personal trainer at Retro Fitness. He had been training me for about two months. I was extremely impressed with the knowledge and professionalism he brought to our sessions. After a lengthy diagnostic session, he created great workout sessions where I was able to build my core, strengthen my cardio and begin a set of wonderful strengthen training routines. I learned so much about my body, muscles and how to manage and care for them. It was a very positive experience and I feel so liberated and excited about continuing this regime. Jim is knowledgeable, positive and motivating and will be an asset to any gym.

Jim has done an excellent job with my training. I have not been in a gym for years because of my weight. I had weight loss surgery and went through I few trainers because of the schedule I needed. Then came Jim and it's been great sense. He has really helped with my core training and strengthing my upper body. Jim is dependable, on time and continues to change up my workout. He is also very conscious when it comes to proper form to avoid injuries. I would highly recommend him for your personal training needs.
