What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a flat monthly fee, not by the hour, so you know your cost up front. Monthly bookkeeping packages start at $350, $450, and $550 depending on how much support you need. One-time projects like cleanup, catch-up, and QuickBooks setup are quoted at a fixed price after I review your books. Your first 30-minute call with me is free. Everything is spelled out in a written proposal before any work starts, so there are no surprise fees.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Book a free 30-minute phone call through my website.
2. We talk through where your books stand and what you need.
3. I review your QuickBooks file or statements so I can price the work accurately.
4. You get a written proposal with a fixed price and clear scope. Once you sign, we get started.
5. If your books are behind, I clean them up first. After that, I reconcile your accounts every month and send your reports through a secure client portal, usually by the 10th business day.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a Level 2 certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor, which is Intuit’s advanced certification, but I also have an extensive background in entrepreneurship and managing my own books, before transitioning to start my own bookkeeping firm.
