Happy Homes Maintenance is a reputable company that I trust with my home renovation needs. He did some small jobs around the house which were great, painting, spackling, general repairs and then I asked hoim about a bathroom renovation. What you should know is first the company owner is onsite for every job. The amount quoted in the proposal is what you end up paying at the end of the job. No oops, no change orders, no bull. Second, when he says he's going to be there, he is or you know when he will be and why he wasn't and it's rescheduled within days, not silence for a week, unanswered phone calls and you wondering where your deposit went and should you stop payment on the check. It's nice to have someone reliable, plus he's licensed and insured. He has great communication and time management skills and I appreciate the courtesy he extends throughout the job. Third but certainly not last, is the quality of work, absolutely beautiful, my before and after is all the proof I need and how I feel in my newly done bathroom! I would gladly use Happy Homes again, because I am one happy homeowner!

Jim and his team are terrific. He has been performing work for us in our home for the past 5 years. He's fixed our roof, gutters, deck, put in walls and structures in our home and repaired all the Sandy damage. Jim is honest and reliable and his work is impeccable. I highly recommend him.

I needed to have my gutters replaced prior to putting my house on the market. Jim understood I did want to spend a lot of money I just needed the house to sell. Jim Exceeded my expectations the new gutters looked fantastic and when the rain came I realized how bad the old gutters really were the gutters worked fantastic. Jim and his crew were very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend Jim for any home improvement job

I am very happy with my experience with Happy Homes LLC. They helped me out on a bunch of different small to medium projects at my house and later at my apartment. Jim is a fantastic guy to work with. He is a licensed and insured contractor and has many many years of experience. His estimates were very reasonable and his work was professional. I strongly recommend Jim for any home improvement related projects.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
we work hourly, $125 for first hour, first visit, $45.00 each hour after, per man,.generally its a 2 man process that will cost $90 per hour, very fair price in this market,.for two men. Jobs like a bathroom is priced on what has to be done, to achieve the desired results for the customer. I am on every job.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Learn what they need, find the best way to do it for them. Create a proposal within the budget, at a start and estimated completion date, sign the contract accept a deposit, file for permits, if needed, order the materials, and get the project started!!!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
yes, recently took and qualified for lead testing in houses built before 1974. Also passed the course for residential building inspector in 2015.I will be going for the State exam this fall. 2016
