All I can say is “Wow!” What a great experience having Dan from Zen Home Inspection come out to give my home a detailed inspection from top to bottom. After owning our home for twenty years, I decided to get my home inspected to prioritize work that needed to be done. From the moment I made the appointment, Dan was attentive and on top of things. He was responsive and explained the process over the phone. He answered all my questions before, during, and after the process, and communicated when he was going to be a few minutes late because of traffic. He found a few issues that I wasn’t even aware of and provided me with a fully detailed report with pictures, and he highlighted which repairs were most urgent. I would highly recommend him for anyone getting their home inspected. He cares about his customers. He not only inspected my home but educated me about potential problems. He is responsive, skilled at what he does, and cares—a top notch home inspector.

Dan is professional, extremely thorough, knowledgeable and very detail oriented. He arrived early, went through every inch of the property and explained everything to me during the inspection. He pointed out all things that one could miss if not paying attention or didn't know. He created the best inspection report with details and pictures which helped me negotiate my deal with the realtor and sellers. I highly recommend Dan for your next home inspection

Dan was extremely professional and did an amazing job. He walked us through each and every inspection portion and also explained us the impact of certain damages. He did not rush and did a very thorough job. The report received as well was very self explanatory. I would definitely go ahead and book him for home inspection.

New construction houses are great. With the most modern safety features and conveniences, it's particularly attractive to first-time homeowners. However, they are still built by people, and people sometimes make mistakes. It doesn't matter if the house is 8 months old, 8 years old, or 80 years old we inspect them to the same standard, never taking for granted that new=correct. Thank you for entrusting us with your beautiful new home!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Normally I feel that the saying "You get what you pay for" is pretty accurate. However, sometimes an opportunity to get a great deal presents itself. You'll find our fee below the amount many home inspectors will charge you. The reason? I want your business! I price aggressively because I want the privilege of inspecting your home! When you (and your agent) see how thorough an inspection I perform and you receive a Spectora report (best in the industry) you'll know you got MORE than your money's worth! More than that, you'll have the confidence to take the next steps with your home buying decision.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you've decided to move forward with Zen Home Inspections LLC. Our next step is to find a date that works for you, me and all other concerned parties. Most of the time inspections are time sensitive so I try and be as flexible and accommodating as I can with scheduling (ex. nights and weekends). After we find the right date and time I send a confirmation email that has a digital agreement explaining all the stipulations of the inspection. Payment can be made up to and including the day of inspection. On the day of inspection I encourage my clients to follow me through the house and ask any questions they may have. The report is very detailed and informative but there's no substitute for seeing something in person. After the inspection has concluded I answer any final questions that you have on site and typically get the report out to you within 48 hours. Even after you receive the report I am available at any time for your questions.

FULLY LICENSED in NJ AND INSURED. Graduate of Inspection 21 Home Inspection Institute. Radon Measurement Technician OSHA Certified.
