I received my undergraduate degree from the Boston Conservatory of music and have performed in and directed musicals and concerts all over the country including in New York City. I have former colleagues friends and classmates who are currently performing, directing, or casting Broadway shows and can get the inside scoop for help with audition and audition prep.

Kate is amazing! She taught my daughter 2 years ago. She was 5 years old at the time a very shy. Kate had her up on stage at the recital singing with 2 other girls, and she even belted out a solo!!! We are sad she moved but I would absolutely recommend her to anyone lucky enough to be close by!

Ms. Sherman is an energetic knowledgeable professional who demonstrated patience and compassion to pre school aged children who had never been exposed to music education. Through her guidance and encouragement my now 7 year old continues to play piano. His current teacher is amazed at his ability to read music and sight read pieces he has never seen.

Katie is just amazing! My daughters vocal skills have improved so much since she started lessons with Katie. She really has a way to bring out your child’s confidence and motivate them to do more. She’s understanding and compassionate and understands that these are children who need guidance so their talents can flourish

Katie is absolutely wonderful. She’s patient, kind, and has proven through my sons progress that her program and technique bring results. She sees the small details, hears what we don’t and pushes your child to be more confident. We can’t say enough about how amazing she is.
