You hire me because you and your guests want to have FUN! You want to dance the night away to the best songs from all the genres you want to hear. With over 10 years of experience as a professional DJ, I can tell you that there is no one size fits all playlist for each and every event that I do. No two gigs are the same! It's what makes DJing so fun for and challenging to me, because every party is different and no two clients are the same. I approach each and every event the same way with the same amount of passion. I am a one-man show and incredibly easy to work with and you can give me as much or as little direction as you'd like. I do that by meeting with my clients in person to get to know their likes and dislikes so that we can work together to craft the perfect playlist for your event! Music is my passion and my passion is my music. I got into DJing because of my love for ALL kinds of music and my strong, burning desire to share it with everyone. I take great pride and satisfaction in knowing exactly what music people want to hear and allow them to dance like no one's watching. I could not have asked for a more professional, skilled and enthusiastic DJ to have hired for the four fundraising events I organized in Manhattan. Not only did Vinny call, email and text me the days leading up to these events to make sure we were aligned with a vision for the event, but even the day of he wanted to make sure he had all details wrapped up and the best kind of music selected to play. He controls the night, has the finger on the pulse of the crowd and has a large music selection that accommodates all different styles and tastes. Every event he has DJ'd for me has been insanely fun and the entire night had the perfect balance of fun, upbeat music that everyone loves. He is a phenomenal DJ and I will hire him for every single event that I plan.

I hired Vinny to DJ my wedding reception and he was exceptional. Not only did he create the perfect set lists for our reception, he listened to us. He understood our likes and dislikes and the atmosphere we wanted to create. Everyone from my mother-in-law to my father to my friends told me how much they enjoyed the music. One guest even said he had no speaking voice the next day because he sang so loudly to all the awesome songs Vinny played! Vinny also gave great advice, having never planned a wedding before, he knew questions to ask about details we hadn't thought of, like dance floor lighting. And he provided his own! Another pleasant bonus: he was always smiling and positive! I really enjoyed speaking with him and he felt more like a friend than a vendor. He remembered every detail we discussed that we wanted, I didn't have to remind him or even think "I wonder when he's going to play..." because he made it happen!!! Getting everything and everyone together is somewhat stressful, but it was not with Vinny. He is the best!!! A class act. I would, and hope to, hire him again and will be recommending him to everyone.

Pricing depends on the gig and length of the event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I PREPARE. When I have a meeting set up with a new client, it is because they need my musical expertise. My thorough preparation starts from my first correspondence with the client or from the moment they are referred to me. I work with them on the goals of the event, atmosphere, clientele and desire to dance. From there we work on building the most efficient and fun selection of songs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold DJ certification of completion from Dubspot in New York, NY.
