You hire me because you and your guests want to have FUN! You want to dance the night away to the best songs from all the genres you want to hear. With over 10 years of experience as a professional DJ, I can tell you that there is no one size fits all playlist for each and every event that I do. No two gigs are the same! It's what makes DJing so fun for and challenging to me, because every party is different and no two clients are the same. I approach each and every event the same way with the same amount of passion. I am a one-man show and incredibly easy to work with and you can give me as much or as little direction as you'd like. I do that by meeting with my clients in person to get to know their likes and dislikes so that we can work together to craft the perfect playlist for your event! Music is my passion and my passion is my music. I got into DJing because of my love for ALL kinds of music and my strong, burning desire to share it with everyone. I take great pride and satisfaction in knowing exactly what music people want to hear and allow them to dance like no one's watching. I just got married last weekend, and had the pleasure of working with DJ Vin City. From the beginning of the planning process to the day of the wedding Vinny was on point. He helped coordinate my wedding timeline, was very engaging throughout the planning process, played a custom music list, and was flexible about adding more songs or making song changes. It also helps that he's a really nice guy, very personable, calming, and upbeat. It is so important as a bride to surround yourself with a positive and supportive team. I was lucky in that way working with DJ Vin City.

We are so happy with our choice of having Vinny, DJ Vin be our wedding DJ! What stood out most to us is his is level of care towards our event - ensuring it would be exactly what we wanted. With that quality, you can't help but get professionlism, responsiveness, and excellence. Vinny made sure he gave us enough of his time to properly and thoroughly go over every aspect of our event. We talked on the phone, texted, (half the time with Vinny reaching out to us first to get things moving, much appreciated). We met a week or two at our venue to further plan final details and to make sure they'll be no surprises on our big day. Vinny also provided us with a wonderful plethora of music in various categories for us to chose from and he made sure he got any song we wanted not on his list. Vinny made sure the music he played was what we wanted. At the actual event, Vinny was on time and ready to roll. He was very communicative with me to ensure things ran smoothly. And, I never had to worry about anything. Finally, Vinny is a great, personable, friendly, accomadating, professional person that really added to our day, making it as special as can be. We made the absolute right choice with DJ Vin. And next time we need a DJ, he can expect our calll! 10 out of 10.

If you are looking for a DJ who will go to the end of the earth to make your dreams come true, choose this guy. My now husband and I had a very different venue- a yacht and DJ Vinny did everything and anything to logistically make the music work for the venue. He met up with me multiple times, toured the venue, even purchased additional equipment to ensure he could fulfill all of my crazy requests. Aside from being a very caring and comforting person, he is also an AMAZING artist! He let us customize the playlist to what we wanted and through some great mixes in throughout the night. He helped me make some decisions for my day that based on his experience were some of the best suggestions! I really can't say enough about Vinny. Other than if you pass up working with him, it would be a total loss!!! Love you Vinny, seriously you made our day!

Pricing depends on the gig and length of the event.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I PREPARE. When I have a meeting set up with a new client, it is because they need my musical expertise. My thorough preparation starts from my first correspondence with the client or from the moment they are referred to me. I work with them on the goals of the event, atmosphere, clientele and desire to dance. From there we work on building the most efficient and fun selection of songs.

I hold DJ certification of completion from Dubspot in New York, NY.
