My wife and I worked with Cooper Interiors on remodeling our large family room. My wife was nervous about hiring an interior designer at first, worried that someone was going to dictate a style to her or present a bunch of options that she didn't want. Pam from Cooper Interiors was excellent. My wife felt that Pam really understood her unique style. Pam presented piece after piece, option after option until my wife thought everything was just right. When the room was all done and put together, my wife's comment was, "I'm so happy she found this [coffee table / console / couch / curtains / etc]. This was exactly what I wanted." Our project took about 3 months - the specific flooring we wanted was on back order, and took 8 weeks to arrive for installation. This pushed back the media center and fireplace install. Even with the long time lag, we felt like Pam stayed on top of our project and didn't miss a beat. Working with Pam was a great experience for us. We'll call her again if we have interior design needs.

Pam Cooper of Cooper Interiors helped us with a home remodel in our house back in 2011-2012. We have enjoyed the work tremendously, and receiving many compliments when our friends and family come over. Her style and approach are exactly what we wanted in a designer, and gave us a cohesive result at a very affordable price. We could never have achieved this outcome by buying "off the rack," or even custom ordering pieces from moderate-range furniture stores. We needed help picking wall colors and furniture, lighting, architectural elements and accessories. For the stuff we can't or don't know how to do ourselves -- custom ottomans, pillows with coordinating fabric, custom window panels -- this is where having an interior designer will really pay off. We've recommended her to many family and friends as well! Now in 2014, we called Pam back to work on an even bigger part of the house that includes the master bedroom, a master bath, the office, and a new kitchen on par with the rest of our amazing house!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am very proud of a dining room I recently completed that the home owners told me they had never used since they moved into their home. That room is going to be featured in Design NJ Magazine and they love the room so much they sometimes have breakfast in it!!
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
We work with home owners who are building new homes, undertaking full service renovations or remodeling entire floors or rooms. We handle everything from concept to completion. That includes working with you to plan your vision and then bring together all the elements including manpower to make it happen.
