- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak with the customer over the phone to get to know them and the full scope of the project, an idea of what their goals are, and to discuss budget and pricing Then do a walkthrough in person to get a freely for the space and/or project. Interior Design: We can then set up an appointment to discuss the project in further detail, see the space(s), and take measurements, and photos of the requested rooms. If it is an e-design project, I can walk the client through surveying and photographing their spaces on their own.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters of Fine Arts in Interior Design with minor focus on furniture design from Pratt Institute; CIDA (Council for Interior Design Accreditation) program. I've worked for both a high end design studio and a budget conscious design studio. I also had the opportunity to work with a carpenter. Prior to that I have many years of experience in the administrative sector. And freelanced as a graphic designer once upon a time.
