    • How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started taking photography more seriously when my daughter was born. I knew how important it was to capture everything because she was changing so quick. Sure, snapshots can do this and are sometimes fun to look at. But really, those pictures tend to just hibernate on the computer. I began taking classes and exploring the art of photography so that I could create artistic images to display in my home. And I love to help other families capture the personalities of their children in a beautiful way. Check out my work on my website. I'd love to create an heirloom for your family.
    • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Portrait photography is an art--not just the photo equipment someone uses or the paper the images are printed on. This is why hiring a photographer from a chain or a big studio may not be the best idea. Who will actually be making your portraits? Be sure to review any potential photographer's portfolio before booking. Check out more of my work on my website.
