FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our systems vary in price from $1890 to $10900 depending on your specific needs. We have additional equipment, including whole house UV light bacterial removal systems, specialty filters for locations with exceptionally high iron or sulfur content, and high capacity systems for those with extremely hard water (i.e. 50+ grains per gallon). These variations are why we need to TEST your water in your home, and show you how our Wi-Fi enabled, ultra high efficiency, patented refiners differ significantly from old fashioned salt based water softeners. If you work directly with me (Steve Wilson) I can usually beat our retail (Universal Water Systems) price. We also have commercial systems for apartments, motels, and hotels.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We make an appointment to have your water tested to determine the level of hardness of your water (very important). This is done so we can "size" an appropriate system for your particular needs. We also run a chlorine test, a precipitation test and few others designed to show you the difference between hard and softened water. Then we do a pay back analysis to see how close we can come to the goal of providing clean water at little or NO COST to you (yes, it is possible).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BS in Biology from New Mexico State University (minor Chemistry). I have been in the water testing and treatment business for the last 9 years with Universal Water Systems, an authorized EcoWater distributor. Prior to that I was in the computer software development industry -- and before that I was in the pharmaceutical and medical research field.
