In an unregulated industry, you would be surprised by the amount of guys who pick up a paint brush and say "I've been painting for over 20 years!" We see it all of the time. They lean on fake experience to give themselves credibility. We make sure that all of our painters have been thoroughly trained on the right way to paint a house, regardless of prior experience, and receive ongoing training and guidance as they need it. We hire our team based on character, and we take pride in having the most knowledgeable painters in town. This is why some of our painters have even come to work with us from other companies! 2. We will work on your project consistently until it is finished. Sometimes things come up. We will never push your project back so that we can start someone else's. Regardless of the size of your project, you are important to us. 3. We will use quality products, and use them properly. We use top tier Sherwin-Williams' Paints, not just the cheapest paint we can find at Sherwin-Williams. We've spent years developing our relationship with our suppliers. This means that you get the best pricing on premium products when you hire us. We see projects all over town that were done using the wrong products, with improper surface prep, which is the leading cause of coating failure. We know our stuff, which is why the Store Manager at our local Sherwin-Williams paint store has called us his "most well versed customer in paint." 4. We stand by our work, and back up our warranty! Most painting contractors are what we call "fly by night" painters. They do a shoddy job, and when the paint fails 6 months down the road, they are no where to be found, or worse, they refuse to fix it and just give you a hard time about it. We will do everything we can to make sure your paint is going to last. Unfortunately sometimes paint does fail, but if it does, you can rest easy knowing that we will be there. When you hire us, we will take care of you and your home. That's our promise! 5. We treat you, your home, your loved ones, and your visitors with respect. In our industry, it isn't uncommon for someone to hire a painter, and then have to usher them away from the home halfway through the project because of unprofessional conduct. We hear horror stories all the time of our competitors sleeping in customers' beds, stealing things, flirting with customers' daughters, and sometimes not even showing up to do the work after money has been paid. 6. We have standardized pricing, and evaluate our pricing often in order to be fair both to our Clients and to our Employees. In the painting industry, it is very common for independent workers to hire "day laborers" to help them get the work done. They will often price the work dirt cheap and pay their daily help very little (sometimes they don't pay their help at all!), and unfortunately their work usually reflects that. These are the kind of people we talked about above that won't show up when you need them the most. As a member of the Painting Contractor's Association, we practice fair pricing following the PCA's Industry Standards on Estimating, and we take care of our team, so they can take care of you.
