- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do at the minimum 16 hours per year of continuing education. I also do additional contining education for Reflexolgoy. In one year alone - we are only required to do 16 hours of Continuing education; however, I love learning so much that I did 200 hours in 1 year alone. I'm a lifetime learner and really enjoy learning more and more about the human body.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to get into this line of work by receiving a particular massage which totally took me out of pain that I lived with since I was a young girl . I carried around this pain that I sustained in an accident that left my body shifted. When I received the healing and felt total freedom from pain in my body, I was called to learn massage therapy and it became my passion to help others.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do for my clients are to serve as a vessels to assist their bodies to unwind and let go. I do alot of psoas releases to assist the hips to realign as well as neck, shoulder and back relief. Most clients prefer deep work.
