FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge 185$ as a service fee just for me to show up which covers the first two hours of labor as well, it's 80$/hr after that unless I bring a helper which brings the hourly rate to 120$/hr. I don't typically supply martials but am willing to transport them and allow customer to pay for them over the phone with a credit card. in some circumstances I would be willing to cover cost of materials, I do not upcharge any of the material prices unless I have to pay for them out of pocket and am 100% transparent and provide receipts for any and all materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
the same as the way I work with all my customers, I'm honest and straight forward about my prices and I do my very best to do the work as if it were my own project at my own house. which means I am not satisfied until the project is completed correctly and with the highest quality craftsmanship in the fastest possible time. with those being the order of priority
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working on getting my bachelor's degree in construction management but due to COVID-19 I took a little break. I plan on finishing my associates portion of the degree ASAP. I have also done my OSHA certification and have also done numerous safety trainings on just about every type of equipment that one can use in my area of work, from scissor lifts and jlg lifts, excavators, loaders, gradeall/boom lifts, skid steers, dozers and rollers. I have been working in the trades since I graduated from high school in 2007 and have worked in every aspect of residential building and have also done a lot of work in commercial settings as well. I enjoy woodworking and building custom cabinets for bars or mancaves and really enjoy the rustic kind of look but have done a lot of modern, boho, sheek, and also traditional and contemporary styles of building as well.
