FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When clients are cooperative with each other, they can get divorced for about $3000. When they can't, we move to an hourly rate of $250 - $400 per hour, and they can easily spend $10,000 or more. I honestly try to help my clients see value in settling up front.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Very simply, I became a lawyer because I wanted to help people. I quickly learned that our traditional divorce system takes advantage of most people and I believed that I could do the most good as a divorce attorney who exposes the flaws of that traditional system.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire someone who is truly looking out for your best interests. Understand that there is a cost to "fighting for everything you deserve" and it is very expensive. I believe most clients are best served by settling up front instead of fighting it out in court.
