FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I work with the client to ensure that their budget needs are met. I have several different price tiers depending on the scope of the work. I will only give a bid once I can actually see the space. I am a Project Manager by trade and definitely use that methodology for my interior design work. You will always be updated in real-time of the budget and timeline which alleviates any surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a call to discuss the clients' needs, budget and timeline. After the call, I do a complimentary site visit to see the space, discuss ideas and pricing. Once booked, I create mood boards to get feedback and confirmation of vision.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mother is also an Interior Designer, so pretty much grew up in it. As an adult, I started purchasing investment properties and would always go for the fixer-uppers knowing I can make them shine with minimal cost. After my 3rd personal renovation, a friend of mine hired me to do her home and essentially started my career. I quickly realized there was a need for an affordable interior designer.
