- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I usually charge $50 per hour for regular work. In disaster recovery, emergency or off-hour situations, I will increase my rate to $75-$100 per hour. The more hours involved in the project, the more likely I am to adjust my rates downward to accommodate the customer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first need to find out what they want to accomplish by having me come out, and then determine what their expectations are from me. I try to get an overall view of their business systems so I can help in areas that they may not have considered critical or at cause, but may be contributing to their current problem or their ongoing frustrations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS degree in General Business and Accounting from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. 30 years of hands on experience with PC based computers and servers.
