Sierra did an excellent job on the installation, showing up same the same day I called (literally within about an hour) and I purchased a lower-end system. The system was installed on a very hot day, after it failed the evening prior. The install team was great, and they sent quality control over during the process to monitor. It was a bit of a hard sale, claiming we'd only get the price if we purchased while sales was here. Its evident I could have received a better price, but they are a top tier provider with many great reviews, and I agree with their statements, others would have cut corners. They also indicate they will come back in October to work with the inspector to permit it properly, which can be done anytime within 6 months. It included new drain pans, new air handler and furnace; my existing system was from the home builder 27 years prior.
I definitely recommend them, just expect a premium for their high quality, responsiveness/speed (especially on a very hot summer) day, and professionalism. I usually don't do a rush decision, especially with a hard sale, but given my spouse's having had a stroke, and temperatures above 100, and the ability to have it completed the same day, I paid the premium. They definitely provided a quality installation. They even sent a crane over to lift the compressor up over the gate so as not to damage the equipment, it wasn't necessary as the compressor sits on ground level, and I offered to help lift it over the gate area, but they felt it best to use the crane. Yesterday they sent over someone to clean up the roof access. They use shoe covers, and protect everything with drop cloths and plastic, they really do take care and provide quality installation. I've dealt with other vendors when replacing our unit in Palm Springs a few years back, not with the same installation quality level.
Details: Install a new A/C unit • Split system • I will purchase the A/C unit • As recommended by the professional • Ground floor • 1,000 - 2,000 sq ft • One story • House

We called to have our system evaluated after it started making a horrible racket - metal on metal sounds. AJ from Sierra provided a thorough, professional assessment of our airconditioning system. He explained the problem with our system without being overly complicated or patronizing. He provided photos that demonstrated each point of concern and gave us a couple of options to fix it, ranging from repair to replacement. We decided to replace the 20+ year system, so AJ scheduled us with Jeremy (sales) who gave us options for the new system. Jeremy provided a couple of options to save energy and money. When we told him we had solar power, he didn't try to upsell us on the most efficient model, but provided an option that met our needs cost-effectively. He explained the installation process and what to expect. Again, extremely professional.Migual led the install team and installation took less than 6 hours, all very well-done. Every person we met with Sierra was thoughtful, professional, and well-trained. They made us feel confident in their abikity to do a great job - and they delivered!Overall, a great experience, and outstanding tech, sales, and installation folks.. I would highly recommend AJ, Jeremy, Migual, and Sierra to anyone needing help evaluating, repairing, or repairing their A/C system.

Josue was our tech. He was friendly and took the time to explain all the questions I had. Really enjoyed learning from him experience. I signed up for the $16 membership. The value was tremendous! He took care of my AC today. Inspected all duct work, adjusted dampeners, etc. Those who think your AC looks clean. Its not! Lots of dirt came out after a simple clean. Glad I did it! Ready for the summer! Looking forward to the heating inspection!Highly recommended!

We've been with Sierra for several years maintaining our AC. Always been great. When our water pressure plummeted our AC guy recommended them for plumbing to take a look. Luis was here this afternoon. He did an inspection and after running some tests recommended replacing the pressure valve in the garage. Sure enough, it fixed the problem and he installed a new valve the same day. Can't say enough good things about Luis, he's awesome. Thank you for your help today sir!

John and Jose were professional , personable, clear and concise. They were prompt and diagnosed the problem quickly. They also prioritized the key issues to fix my air conditioner as well as evaluated other pieces of my system that I need to keep an eye on. The morning started out stressful but I will sleep easy tonight!! Well done!
