Sierra did an excellent job on the installation, showing up same the same day I called (literally within about an hour) and I purchased a lower-end system. The system was installed on a very hot day, after it failed the evening prior. The install team was great, and they sent quality control over during the process to monitor. It was a bit of a hard sale, claiming we'd only get the price if we purchased while sales was here. Its evident I could have received a better price, but they are a top tier provider with many great reviews, and I agree with their statements, others would have cut corners. They also indicate they will come back in October to work with the inspector to permit it properly, which can be done anytime within 6 months. It included new drain pans, new air handler and furnace; my existing system was from the home builder 27 years prior.
I definitely recommend them, just expect a premium for their high quality, responsiveness/speed (especially on a very hot summer) day, and professionalism. I usually don't do a rush decision, especially with a hard sale, but given my spouse's having had a stroke, and temperatures above 100, and the ability to have it completed the same day, I paid the premium. They definitely provided a quality installation. They even sent a crane over to lift the compressor up over the gate so as not to damage the equipment, it wasn't necessary as the compressor sits on ground level, and I offered to help lift it over the gate area, but they felt it best to use the crane. Yesterday they sent over someone to clean up the roof access. They use shoe covers, and protect everything with drop cloths and plastic, they really do take care and provide quality installation. I've dealt with other vendors when replacing our unit in Palm Springs a few years back, not with the same installation quality level.

We had some noise coming from the AC unit in the attic. I called Sierra Airconditioning and they sent David over within a few hours and fixed the problem without any issue. David is very courteous and professional. We are very satisfied!

Sierra went to my house to look at my AC unit for repair. The technician disassembled my unit without my authorization claiming there may be a safety issue. After reading their reviews on Nextdoor, this seems to be a common strategy used by this company to scare customers into replacing their unit through them without doing any due diligence
