Diamond Shield Coatings has been coating floors, airport hangers, driveways, and patios for over 34 years. We prefer to use industrial grade urethane over epoxy due to its more protective and longer lasting qualities. Here's a look at our process.
Prep: We Diamond Grind, pressure clean, and patch any craters in your floor so the coating is even and perfect.
Step 1. We apply a Base Coat layer as a moisture barrier primer that also prepares your floor for its design.
Step 2-3: An Industrial Grade urethane layer and your design is applied by hand to make your floor one of a kind.
Step 4. A Clear Coat layer is applied, finalizing the floor, adding slip resistance, and protecting the floor from chemicals and damage.
Optional: A secondary Clear Coat Layer can be added for extra protection, recommended for commercial spaces and warehouses.

Carmen was very friendly and informative. He let me know the entire process and answered all of my questions. He was on time every day and finished the job on time. The garage floor looks amazing and none of my neighbors can believe how nice it looks. I have had other garage floors in the past, and nothing compares to Diamond Shield Coatings and their process. They do more than all other garage flooring companies and it shows! The floor is so nice and I would highly recommend Carmen and Diamond Shield Coatings.

Carmen cleaned and sealed our pavers in our driveway, two patios in the back along with the walkway entrance into the home. He also stripped an old garage coating he did 17 years ago, off our garage floor. (Just wanted a color change from tan to copper) and reinstall the new coating...copper metallic with cinnamon.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1. We are competitively priced to offer you the best available product compared to other options.
2. Our installers work with you to find tune our coating system to your needs and take every necessary step to coat your floor right, the first time.
3. We are a trusted partner of multiple homebuilders in the Vegas Valley to coat their luxury homes. Because of this, we're authorized to install our coatings even before construction is complete, an honor most coatings companies cannot do.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Once the client contacts us, we set an appointment for a free onsite consultation and quote.
2. We work with the customer to design a floor system that suits their needs, based on their space and budget.
3. Once needs are established, the customer has an endless variety of designs to choose from.
4. Once all is agreed upon, we form a contract with the homeowner, and schedule our installation to accommodate them.
5. An installation can range from 1-4 days depending on the space, but each stage is closely arranged with the client ahead of time.
