Hi I’m Erica (she/her), a published photographer/hybrid videographer & former special education teacher from Chicago. ( I offer a military teacher, & first responder discounts). I picked up photography while getting my degree in elementary education. Many of the things I learned transferred well into how I interact with clients. As a photographer, I am patient, understanding, and knowledgeable.
I’ve worked with the Las Vegas Water District, I’ve had photos published by Variety Magazine and I’ve had the opportunity to shoot a live event for Walt Disney. I love working with people and companies from all over and I truly enjoy my craft.
My style deeply rooted in photojournalism while influenced by fine-art and fashion photography. I love using creative lighting, leading lines, unique perspectives, angles, compositions to bring out clients personalities and beauty while telling their story.

Erica is one of the most amazing people we met on our trip to Las Vegas. Not only is she a phenomenal photographer she’s also a very sweet woman. She took the time to pay attention to details and she captured every beautiful moment that we initially lost during our first wedding when the photographer lost our photos. She knew this day was extremely important to us because of us. She treated us as if this were the grandest wedding she had done yet it was just a simple 10 year anniversary Vow renewal. She arrived early and got some photos of my jewelry and shoes as well as me getting ready. Her and my make up and hair artist helped me as if they were just a few of my friends. They made my day so special. When there was difficulty that arose from problems with the venue and the fact that the strip was closed down for a Marathon that we did not know about, Erica jumped into action and took all the photos that she could and went above and beyond to finish the following day. I do not know many photographers that are so professional and caring to go over and above in this manner. I would highly recommend her for any type of photography that you would need she truly listens to the client and she brings her life what you are trying to capture. It was a fun and lighthearted shoot and it truly made my day and most perfect day it could’ve been.

Erica was absolutely amazing! We went to Vegas to take our engagementphotos and she is just so amazing to work with. I was so nervous and she just got out poses together in no time and felt so comfortable. I can’t wait to see my pictures when they come back.

My significant other and I enjoyed our engagement shoot with Erica. My fiance and I are both introverts and generally don't say much. However, Erica made us feel very comfortable! Erica arrived and was prepared with lots of ideas for the photoshoot. She was very friendly so if you are shy or scared of taking photos, don't be!! She'll give you some guidance on poses to do if you totally don't know what to do!!! We loved the photos we received. BOOK ERICA, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!

It’s been almost a month since the wedding and I still admire the photos daily. Erica was very efficient with the time we had. She was warm and knew how to direct everyone to show their best sides. Erica is an amazing photographer. Our pictures were better than I could ever have imagined. As background, we were visiting Vegas from out of town and decided to squeeze in our engagementphotos. I scheduled the session for the day we arrived which resulted in a very cranky and, somewhat, uncooperative fiancé. I was sure that the pictures would reflect his dour mood, but somehow, Erica was able to capture his tiny smiles and the best moments of the day. I truly love the pictures.
As a bonus, Erica is super fun and personable. I think it was her energy that coaxed the smiles from my partner and salvaged what could have been a really depressing day.
She is a true professional with great talent. I wish she were in DC to do our wedding photos.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No event is too small, prices start at $150/hr... baby showers, gender revels, anniversaries, birthdays...etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is simple, first we set a date and time the works best for you. After your deposit is made, we discuss the potential location for your shoot.. ( outdoors, in studio, Downtown, or Las Vegas strip). If the customer has any reference photos I will take a look and ty to incorporate them into a mood board that allows me to plan the direction of the shoot.
