Introduction: **Please Read** IG @thesideofphotography Hi I’m Erica (she/her), a published photographer/hybrid videographer & former special education teacher from Chicago. ( I offer a military teacher, & first responder discounts). I picked up photography while getting my degree in elementary education. Many of the things I learned transferred well into how I interact with clients. As a photographer, I am patient, understanding, and knowledgeable. I’ve worked with the Las Vegas Water District, I’ve had photos published by Variety Magazine and I’ve had the opportunity to shoot a live event for Walt Disney. I love working with people and companies from all over and I truly enjoy my craft. My style deeply rooted in photojournalism while influenced by fine-art and fashion photography. I love using creative lighting, leading lines, unique perspectives, angles, compositions to bring out clients personalities and beauty while telling their story. My clients vision is most important & capturing the moment so that they see their vision come to life.
