FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide an affordable option for individuals representing themselves in legal matters. I am not an attorney and cannot provide legal advice or legal representation. My services are limited to preparing documents based on the information and direction provided by the client. Payment plans are available, with one half of the total fee required before work begins and the remaining balance due before the documents are filed or finalized.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a free initial consultation, which may be held virtually, by telephone, or in person. During the consultation, I learn more about the customer’s situation, determine which document preparation services may be needed, and explain the anticipated fees and process. Once the customer decides to move forward and submits the initial payment, I gather the necessary information and begin preparing the documents. The customer is given an opportunity to review the documents and provide any corrections before they are finalized or filed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and have approximately ten years of professional experience working as a paralegal and legal document preparer. Through this work, I have gained extensive experience preparing documents in family law, divorce, custody, guardianship, probate, civil, and other legal matters. I regularly review court procedures and filing requirements to help ensure that documents are prepared accurately and professionally.
