Head photographer, Michael Hewitt, a Las Vegas native and UNLV alumnus with a degree in graphic arts, has been a local photographer for over 14 years. His extensive experience is highlighted by his time as the resident photographer for the Palms Casino Resort where he had the opportunity to work with many high profile and celebrity clientele. This exposure cultivated the high degree of professionalism he brings to every shoot today. Mike's considerable freelance work coupled with his time at the Palms has led to documentation of thousands of events and weddings. Mike manages to bring out each event's distinct personality through his unique sense of artistry and his blend of traditional and photo-journalistic styles. After being a life long Nikon devotee, he's recently switched camps over to Canon and is completely in love with his new 5D Mark III. His work has been published in Rolling Stone, InStyle, Sports Illustrated, as well a myriad of local publications. Mike can truly be called an expert in his field. Capturing the emotion and significance of an event is what he does best.

I booked Glitter Lens for a Vegas Strip photo tour. I love professional photography and thought it was a fun idea. My husband was a little resistant to the idea......it turned out to be a highlight of the trip for BOTH of us! Mike was great fun and knew all the right "hot spots" to shoot at. He was like hanging out with a friend. The night of our shoot was chilly, windy, and pouring down rain off & on (not your typical night in Vegas); but you can't tell at all when looking at our pics. Mike worked through the obstacles and captured some beautiful images. If you love photography and are looking for something fun & different to do in Vegas, I highly recommend a Glitter Lens photo session!

We booked Glitter Lens Photography for our wedding, and the experience was beyond exceptional! Our photographer, Mike, was perfectly suited to our personalities, which absolutely made our night. His work is incredible. No stale poses and shots, no boring chit-chat...just an easy, fun night with a whole lot of laughs! We love our photos, and will remember Mike fondly! My fiancé and I were taking a trip to Las Vegas for a concert at Caesars Palace. At the very last minute, and I mean very last, I decided to try to set up a "Night on the Town" photo shoot as we just didn't have any quality photos of us as a couple.
I received about 5 different quotes from Thumbtack, and I was immediately taken by the timeliness and professionalism of Caitlin who is your first point of contact at Glitter Lens and may I say an absolutely awesome one! Caitlin answered all of my questions, and made the process of booking Glitter Lens a breeze.
Of course, as anyone knows when booking something like this, you have to wonder if they will actually show up and provide the services as promised...
Again, Glitter Lens gets an A+. We were told that Greg, our photographer, would meet us as 5:00pm at the specified location. He was there right on time, we were actually the one's who were 10 minutes late.
Greg, was absolutely awesome and put us immediately at ease. Thanks to Greg and Glitter Lens we have some absolutely fantastic photos from our 2016 trip to Vegas.

Michael did my sons senior photoshoot. They had a lot of fun out at Nelson's landing. He got a lot of great shots!! This was the first time the boys had done professional pictures he made them feel comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend him as well as the location.
