- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I trained and was the assistant photographer (aka second shooter) for an LA wedding photographer from 2010-2014. Since then I have either been working on my own or doing contact work for other companies.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
A friend invited me to assist him on a shoot. From there he noticed I had an eye for detail that he figured would translate well into photography and there began my journey into the photography world! I fell in love with the camera and capturing humans and food!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Cheaper isn’t always better. If you’re needing a wedding photographed, make sure to ask to see a full gallery of a wedding versus just a few photographs on a website. It’s easy to highlight a few good shots, but the pros are able to show consistency throughout the entire wedding.
