- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to keep standard pricing close to what the Reiki practitioners around me are charging, we are all utilizing the same energy and are on the same team. This being said, every client situation is different. For example, if I am driving two hours to teach you Reiki or give you a Reiki treatment - you can expect a bit higher price than if I walked next door to see you. Some clients are seen by donation only, such as hospice or intensive care situations. Some of those donations come in the form of money, some do not. It is all in what feels right with each client that comes to me.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a good conversation before the first session, phone or at least text. Especially with distant healing sessions. We want to make sure that we are both feeling good about each other before hand. Also allow for talk time before your session, whether in person or distant. Again, every client and their needs are different. Clients new to Reiki and energy healing will need more information on what to expect, clients with complex issues may need to talk more or I may chose to prepare with such things as meditation a bit more before hand. I do like to ask questions, as I like to work at the roots of problems and get us both on the same page as far as goals go for the session. Each client and session is unique.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Family education/practice in Native American energy and herbal healing - Study and practice with a Dene Medicine Woman, 2yrs in my 30's - Traditional Reiki level 1 and level 2 certifications, began practicing Reiki with the public and reduced my nursing practice. - Holy Fire Reiki level 3 advanced certification, left nursing to practice Reiki with the public full time. - Began study with various Shamanic Practitioners and a Cree Medicine Man. After some years began Shamanic healing sessions with the public. - Holy Fire Reiki Master/Teacher certification and continued with Shamanic studies - Began teaching Holy Fire Reiki while continuing individual healing sessions, both Reiki and Shamanic sessions.
