We hired Tess to shoot our niece's graduation photos and they are gorgeous! We could not be happier. She went out of her way to find perfect backdrops that really depict the joy of the event. We plan to hire her again to shoot our two westies. She has a unique way of capturing the soulful essence of dogs. Tess is friendly and personable. Tess photographed my wedding at 11,053 ft high at the top of Mammoth Mountain Ca. It was late July and the weather was perfect with blue skies, puffy white clouds 75 degrees and still a lot of patches of snow on the mountains in the background.
We had 85 people and she managed to get great pictures of everyone!
At the time, Tess flew to Ca from out of State and brought an assistant with her who was not only a big help in helping to organize some of the group pictures, but showed up early to also help myself and my Maid of Honor & bridesmaids to get ready.
Tess's vision was very creative in capturing some really beautiful and some very fun images that I'll cherish forever. She took pictures of us getting ready. Then she rode the gondola with us capturing some unbelievable images with the most amazing backdrops from high in the sky. We all gathered just off the Gondola and stood at a huge rock overlooking the double black diamond run called Climax, where we shared our vows.
Over the years, we have had Tess take some Family pictures with our pets too. Also, milestone Birthday parties, head shots for my business etc. She never ever disappoints. When friends look at the pictures she has photographed, we get nothing but compliments about her work.
If you're looking for someone who is professional, friendly and extremely creative, I would highly recommend Tess to be not only your Wedding Photographer but also, Special events, Real Estate, or Family Photos. You'll be happy you did.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire Tess for our daughter's engagement shoot. From the very first contact, Tess was responsive and flexible with our suggestions concerning location and timetable. She answered our questions thoroughly, giving us confidence to move forward. On the day of the shoot, Tess arrived early, and was well prepared. Our daughter and her fiance shared that Tess was very easy to work with, friendly yet professional. They had a blast! Lastly....the results. Absolutely gorgeous! Tess managed to make a photo session look natural and relaxed, while choosing backgrounds that enhanced the couple. She really captured the love between her subjects, without letting the landscape overpower the scene. Tess's editing skills were very much appreciated, as well. None of the photos looked overdone, just enhanced, so as to bring out the best result. We highly recommend Tess, and look forward to requesting her for family photos in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is quoted on the individual job. I will be discounting Weddings for last minute 2020 bookings do to reschedules from Covid. The discount will be 15% off.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process starts with a email, call or a in person meeting depending on my clients needs. I then discuss details from locations to wardrobe and if we are a go, we then move forward with a date and time secured with a 10% deposit fee.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked throughout the world with many of the top Photographers in Fashion and sports . I started as a film Photographer in the early 90s and learned my technical black and white skills and true color from shooting C-41 and E6 processing. My composition skills came from several years of post production and studying with my mentors.
