About
My husband Steve and I started this business in San Jose, CA in 1995. We relocated to Reno, NV in November of 2021. We still have our business in San Jose with contractors who do the pet sitting. Steve and I also do house and pet sitting when we are in San Jose as well.
We have found that we are missing it and have decided to do house sitting here in the Reno, Truckee, and Tahoe areas.
The thing we like most about our job is getting to spend time with the animals. We have 3 cats ourselves and we have fostered puppies and cats. We could never have all the pets we would like so this gives us the opportunity to love and care for yours.

Elizabeth was wonderful. Pups took right to her. She sent photos and updates of our fur babies. That was great as I always worry. Helpmed me too😊 A very thoughtful lady.

Steve and Elizabeth are great pet caretakers! We had a family outing for my son’s school and dogs weren’t allowed. Steve came and kept our dog company all day. At the last minute we had to take care of our neighbor’s dog as well, and Steve happily watched them both. Will definitely use their services again!

The Pawsitevely Purrfect team (Elizabeth and Steve) met with us twice before their first pet sitting adventure with our eccentric senior boys. They made sure they knew what to expect before their first visit: from treats and routine down to the way they let you know to let them outside. They are very personable, professional and made sure they had everything they needed to care for our house and pets. We never worried while we were away because they had everything under control and sent updates and photos regularly. It was such a comfort knowing that the boys were happy in their own routine at home. I would HIGHLY recommend the Pawsitively Purrfect team to ALL my friends with furry people.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have our base base price for per visit or per day for house sitting. The price increase from there based on the amounts of pets to care for, other extras you may ask us to do, and holiday visits.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a conversation on the phone, I would then book your dates on my calendar, and we would set a date for me to come meet you and your furry family member/s.
